Where Is My Free Logo?

Every once in a while we get an email from an upset customer saying something along the lines of: “You guys are jerks. Nothing about your service is free.” Well, that’s just not true. And we wish these upset customers would include their contact information so we can let them know there is an option to download a free logo.

How to Get Your Free Web Logo

First, you’ll need to launch the logo design application. To do this, simply click the “Start” button in the header above. Or go to our home page and click the “Try It Now” button.

Then create a logo by choosing an icon, adding your text, picking colors, and adjusting the layout until you have a logo that you want to keep. Next save your logo design and create an account (This is simply to store your logo. No payment is required. In fact, we won’t even ask for your credit card.)  At this point, you should see a screen that looks something like this:

On the lower left hand side of the screen is an orange button that says, “FREE WEB LOGO”. It’s just under the “Shop the Store” link. Click that button and you’ll see a screen that looks like this:

In the box labeled “File Info” is a snippet of HTML code that you can place in your web site’s HTML code that will pull and display your free logo anytime someone opens up your web page. That’s all there is to it.

If you just want the actual logo file, not just the code, simply copy the code into your web browser’s address bar. Then right click on the logo as it displays and select “save to disk”. This will save the .GIF file to your computer so you can use it anytime you need it.

This is a low-resolution file optimized for use on the web. If you need a larger file, or higher resolution logo, simply click the “Buy Logo” button in your account to purchase and download high resolution files you can use for business cards and more.

There it is. The free web logo. Exactly as promised. We try hard not to be jerks. And more importantly, to keep our word. If you need a free web logo, try it out and let us know what you think.
