Logomaker got its start way back in 2004 as a side project for an online design company. Our design team created nearly 100,000 amazing logo concepts for thousands of small business customers.
For each customer, we would present as many as 12 different logo design ideas, then they would choose their favorite. Which meant nearly a dozen icons went unused on every project. Thousands of awesome icons were sitting in our archive—homeless and alone.
Then we had an idea.
Why not put those extra designs into an easy-to-use design application and let customers create new logos with them?
So we built Logomaker. And it was a hit. We’ve been here ever since.
Logo design should be affordable for everyone—our manifesto.
It used to be that if you wanted a logo, you had to visit an advertising agency (you’ve seen MadMen, right?) or find a freelance designer to work with. And the process cost hundreds or even thousands of dollars.
Logomaker changed all that.
We believe someone starting a new business shouldn’t have to spend a lot of money to get an amazing logo.
We believe that business owners are creative and they know their businesses far better than a designer or ad agency ever will.
We believe with easy-to-use design software, you can create a great logo. A logo you’ll love.
And it shouldn’t cost thousands of dollars. Or even hundreds. Fifty dollars sounds about right. Or, if you don’t need high-resolution files, how about free?
